Banyan tree Bonsai :
The national tree of the Republic of India is the
Banyan tree. The banyan tree is also called “Kalpa Taru” which means
wish-granting Tree. Banyan tree has immense medicinal properties. It gives
shelter to many kinds of animals and birds, which represent India and Indian
people from different casts and religions. Due to very complex roots structure
and extensive branches, it is used as a subject specimen in bonsai.
